The power of Reiki never fails to astound me.........
I recently had to let my dog ...my beautiful princess.... Be put down and be allowed to slip away into peace.....
Even when you know that it is the right thing....the self doubt and fear...satisfying your own pain...creeps in...
We Enjoyed a treatment of Reiki together before going to the vets.... Just to ease the following hours and the dreaded moment......
Whilst waiting in the vets...she had snuggled into my shoulder........
She had virtually gone to sleep before the vet had touched her......and just looked so so peaceful.
I had further self treatments of Reiki that day and treatments with others the following day....
As I think of her just a week later.... In the most part ..... I feel the enormity of her love consume me in a way that feels totally nourishing, comforting and peaceful.
It doesn't stop me missing her.....it doesn't stop me wishing she was still her..to hold and feel .......
But I do know that she is at peace....
And I know exactly how this comfort has been achieved.
