Extreme self care.....

I have just read Cheryl Richardson's book extreme self care....

Wow.... So much to take in... And it all makes sense

From the Heal Your Life work we know that everything needs to come from within....

"Working from the inside out"  my favourite expression as it describes this work so well...

 It's all about working from within yourself...

  • Accepting all that you are, 
  • accepting and approving of all that you do,
  • letting go of the debilitating beliefs that no longer serve you
  • Forgiving yourself and others in order to set yourself free
  • Removing all those burdens, anxieties and torments - feel yourself getting freer
  • Being kind and gentle with yourself
  • Believing in yourself
  • Getting to know yourself
  • Gaining inner peace and understanding
  • Learning to love yourself
  • Unconditionally
  • Allowing yourself to gain help
  • Letting others into your inner most world - because it's safe to do so
  • Knowing .... 

So extreme self care.....  What does that really mean?

Let's start right at the beginning and just dip our toe in the water....

What 5 things could you do for yourself today?  

Mine are - 

Five minutes of sitting against a tree - bare footed feeling the grass beneath my feet and between my toes ( 5 mins is just about 1/2 of one percent of my day)

A magnesium salt bath for relaxation and the many benefits of magnesium

Drink a full 2 litres of water

Allow myself half an hour to read leisurely

And extra rest to switch off and rejuvenate.
